This information has been obtained directly from authorities controlling each release. It is updated on a regular basis to keep you informed of release cancellations or changes. Check back before traveling!

It must be understood that this information does not guarantee a specific flow in the river. River flow is subject to change without notice due to current availability of water, unanticipated weather and water conditions, equipment failure, as well as other unforeseeable causes. It is your responsibility to determine that the river flow is suitable for your intended use prior to putting on the river. It is your responsibility to monitor conditions while on the river for flow changes which might make the river unsuitable for your use.

From May 1st through Columbus Day in October, the daily release will be a minimum of 4800 cfs, 10am to 1 pm.

From June 15th through September 15th, 1 pm – 3 pm minimum release will be 2400 cfs

Between June 15th and September 15th in consultation with AWA, AMC and NEFLOW there will be four Sunday releases at a minimum of 2400 cfs during the hours of 1 pm and 3 pm

In consultation with all interested parties there will be four releases of 8000cfs provided each rafting season during the hours of 10 am and 1 pm.

 

Canada Falls, ME (Penobscot S. Branch)

Releases are Saturdays in July, August, and September (on or before Sept 15) from 10 am continuing until 3 pm.
