England Rivers
(updated: 8/23/2010)
This
information has been obtained directly from authorities controlling each
release. It is updated on a regular basis to keep you informed of release cancellations
or changes. Check back before traveling!
It must be
understood that this information does not guarantee a specific flow in the
river. River flow is subject to change without notice due to current
availability of water, unanticipated weather and water conditions, equipment
failure, as well as other unforeseeable causes. It is your responsibility to
determine that the river flow is suitable for your intended use prior to
putting on the river. It is your responsibility to monitor conditions while on
the river for flow changes which might make the river unsuitable for your use.

^ Due to
lack of rain and the sunny days ( evaporation of lake levels) the Engineering
Advisory Committee for Long Falls Dam on Flagstaff Lake regrets to inform you
that the scheduled release for August 14th & 15th will have to be
cancelled. July has seen the driest conditions since the summer of 1970.
Please note: we will be
releasing water from the dam as necessary to provide the above flows directly
below Spencer Stream.
We hope you enjoy these
recreational opportunities in a safe manner. Proposed releases are subject to change due to license
restrictions.
